Trim Levels (Exterior)
Kia offers the 2019 Stinger in five trim levels: 2.0L, Premium, GT, GT1, and GT2. The first trim takes its name from the engine size, but it also offers features like heated side mirrors, a 7-inch touchscreen with UVO, a smart key and push-button start, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Premium adds features like a sunroof, full LED headlights, and a more advanced 8-inch touchscreen. The GT trims swap in a larger engine, but their feature lists start just about the same as the 2.0L and end the same as the Premium.
Engine (Power)
The 2019 Stinger 2.0L and Premium trims both come with a 2.0-liter I-4 engine that uses turbo power to get 255 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The three GT trims all come with a 3.3-liter V-6 engine, and its twin turbochargers give the vehicle 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. Both engines come equipped with Kia's modern eight-speed automatic transmission, and you can also upgrade the drivetrain to all-wheel drive on any trim. Thanks to that and the two engines, the Stinger's fuel efficiency ranges from 22 city and 29 highway mpg to 19 city and 25 highway mpg
Performance
Whether you choose the small engine or the large one, you can have plenty of fun driving the 2019 Kia Stinger. The turbo power of both engines can help you launch out of a stop, and the available all-wheel drive helps keep traction on slippery roads and tight curves. Each trim also comes with a drive mode selector, and you can choose between Eco, Sport, Comfort, Smart, and Custom modes. If you're interested in what's going on under the hood, the GT1 and GT2 trims add sport gauges to the digital screen that show you stats like oil temperature, turbo boost, and G forces.
Interior
The 2019 Stinger might be a sporty vehicle, but it's also a luxury car. That's why it offers optional features like a 15-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a head-up display, Nappa leather seats, and a 16-way adjustable driver's seat. The front row can also come with heat and ventilation, heated rear seats, and a rear fold-down armrest. Also, the Stinger isn't exactly a sedan thanks to the hatch in the back, but that change means you get 23.3 cubic feet for cargo storage despite its small size.
Safety Features
The 2019 Kia Stinger comes with standard safety features like seven air bags, electronic stability control, a traction control system, and cornering brake control. Each trim also comes with driver assistance features like parking distance warning, blind spot collision warning, and lane change assist. You can get even more features by getting the right trim.
