2019 Kia Optima

<p>The 2019 Kia Optima is available in four trim levels — S, EX, SX Turbo, and LX. Drivers can also choose from a total of five exterior colors — Snow White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Passion Red, Horizon Blue, and Ebony Black.</p><p>Although there are subtle exterior design changes to the 2019 Optima, the updates are modern-inspired. The front end features a new fascia with upgraded full standard LED and fog lights. Upgraded trim levels include a blackened grille with black exterior trims, a smart trunk system, and 18-inch wheels.</p>

The 2019 Kia Optima is powered with three engine choices. The standard LX and S trim levels come with a 2.4-liter I-4 engine with 185 horsepower. The EX model is equipped with a 1.6-liter I-4 turbocharged engine for 201 horsepower. The SX Turbo model is powered with a 2.0-liter I-4 turbo engine for 245 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.

With three engine choices and a new available seven-speed transmission, you can easily find a performance that meets your everyday needs with the 2019 Kia Optima. The 2019 model is still equipped with many of the enhanced performance parts that drivers have come to enjoy, including the Sportmatic shifter, the MacPherson struts with stabilizers, and the multi-link suspension system. The available plug-in hybrid model allows you to operate completely on all-electric mode, improving efficiency and cutting fuel costs.

<p>The 2019 Kia Optima also features a new version of the Kia UVO driver infotainment system. An 8.0-inch touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto sync ability is standard on all trim levels. Drivers have the option of upgrading the seats to a two-toned red-and-black design. Upgrade to the available nine-speaker Harman Kardon sound system for a premium listening experience.</p><p>Both front- and back-seat passengers are sure to find the interior of the 2019 Optima to be comfortable. Standard is a CleanTex cloth interior, but drivers can also upgrade to the available sporty Nappa leather seat trim with up to 12-way heated, power adjustments. A rear camera display system and park distance warning reverse features are also standard on all 2019 models. Drop down the 60/40 split folding seating to maximize the interior cargo space.</p>

<p>Keeping you and your passengers safe are several advanced safety features that come standard on the 2019 Kia Optima; these include rear cross-traffic collision warning, blind-spot collision warning, smart cruise control with stop and go features, and forward-collision warning. </p><p>The aforementioned park distance warning feature helps you easily fit into the tightest of spaces, and available dynamic bending light and high-beam assist adjust the angles of your headlights for better visibility on twisting and turning roads.</p>
