Kia Motors America (KMA) experienced its seventh consecutive month sales records with its best-ever November sales. Throughout the month total sales reached 45,553 units, which is an increase of 1.4 percent compared to total sales from November 2014.
“Kia has outpaced the industry all year, and with our ‘Holidays On Us’ sales event in place throughout November customers visited our showrooms in record numbers to discover the new Kia,” said Michael Sprague, chief operating officer and EVP, KMA. “Kia continues to grow and mature at a rapid rate, and surpassing the six million vehicles mark as we push toward a strong finish to the year is the latest example of how far this brand has come in a very short period of time.”
November Sales:
- Optima sales were up 2.7 percent with 13,048 units
- Soul sales were up 9.8 percent with 10,045 units
- Forte sales reached 5,010 units
- Cadenza sales were up 75.7 percent with 482 units
- K900 sales were up 230 percent with 228 units
- Sportage sales were up 29 percent with 4,211 units
- Sorento sales were up 0.49 percent with 9,023 units
- Sedona sales reached 2,243 units

Record-Breaking October Sales For Kia
Kia has posted its best-ever sales month for October 2015 with a 12-percent increase in comparison to last year’s October. Additionally, the brand also reported impressive year-to-date sales of 50,044 vehicles delivered. Taking the lead is the Kia Optima with 134,486 units sold year-to-date. The second runner up was the Soul with 126,264 units sold year-to-date. The third place vehicle in sales was the Sorento with 84,234 units sold YTD. The all-new 2016 Optima will be arriving to dealerships across the U.S. and with the 2017 Sportage making its way over to North America to debut at the LA Auto Show this month, Kia is looking at a strong end of year finish.
